I’ve been writing this blog almost daily for f.i.v.e. y.e.a.r.s.
I’ve quit a job.
I got a new job.
I’ve moved to Mexico.
I’ve grown my hair out.
I lost my sweet first baby (Nattie.)
I adopted my second baby (Fergie).
I tried to get pregnant. It didn’t work very well. Then it did.
And I had Lila.
Then oops, I did it again – I got pregnant and had Vivienne.
My life has unfolded on this blog.
And, here we are today.
The blog, oh the blog, it’s evolved over the years, no? Well, maybe it hasn’t evolved per se, but the subject matter has definitely changed course.
I love this space.
Some would argue that this whole blogging thing is a waste of time.
I’d have to disagree with that.
My blog is my place. And your place.
I hope to create a legacy that I’ll be proud of. That my chill’uns would be proud of, too.
I’ve got to tell you, too – that without you – without your comments, I more than likely have quit by now. Blogging can be treacherous. You write, and write and write… and you hope that a post might resonate with somebody somewhere. Or at least make someone smile.
Thanks for reading.
Thank you so much for commenting.
You will never know how your comments have filled my day. And my heart. And believe it or not, my life.
I thank you for reading.
I thank you for telling your friends and family members about this blog.
I know there are about a gazillion other things you need to do today, but you decided to take a second and check out Two Pretzels.
Thanks a lot.
And because it’s a tradition. Here’s my first ever post.
P.S. If you’ve never left a comment before, it’s easy. Click “comments” below and type what you’d like to say. Under “Choose your identity” just select “anonymous.”
