I’d like to introduce you to a little something that has changed my life.
Ya’ll. This is the “Egg Central Command Center” (as named by my friend A.D.S.), but better known on Amazon as the Cuisinart Egg Central.
|Isn’t she adorable?!|
(No. This is not a sponsored post.)
IF YOU LIKE EGGS, you need this. It’s amazing.
The Egg Central makes the perfect hard boiled eggs — ten at a time (or less). It also whips up soft and medium boiled eggs with no worry about over-cooking. You can even poach up to four eggs at a time (that turn out perfectly) and you can make up to a 3-egg PERSONAL OMELET.
This is 3 million times better than an easy bake oven. It’s EGGS all day everyday. YOU GUYS.
AND THE CLEAN UP IS INSANELY EASY.
It’s teeny-tiny, too. Smaller than a gallon of milk.
|That’s mine. On my counter in my kitchen. See the coffee pot in the background? It’s about the same size as the carafe.|
So here’s how easy the omelet-making is.
You chop up a little something…
Spray the little pan with PAM or an olive-oil spray. (Or the oil of your choice…)
Whip up 1-3 eggs (I’m using 2) and add a splash of milk.
Throw in the ingredients.
Always add cheese [to whatever you’re eating]. (Life Rule #4.)
Next, the Egg Command Center comes with a little beaker that features directional labels. The labels say things like “Hard boiled eggs” or “Soft boiled eggs” or “Poached eggs” or in this case, “Omelet.” (Note: it takes a little while to dial in EXACTLY how much cold water to use. I find that I need to cook for additional time if I put a ton of veggies in my omelet.)
You fill the beaker with cold water according to what your’e making and pour it into the bottom of the unit/appliance/Egg Command Center.
Next place the little pan on top of the grate… and put the lid back on.
You slide the little power button to the right and [anxiously] wait.
When all of the cold water has evaporated, the Egg Command Center will beep and your eggs.are.done.
And there you have it!
A perfectly round, perfectly adorable, perfectly fluffy personal omelet.
Does it get much better than that?
I don’t think so.
This is beyond worth the $39.99.
I love this thing.
Mother’s Day is just around the corner and nothing says I love you like an egg-making appliance.
My prayer is that this becomes the next George Foreman grill.
Check it out here.
