I’ve always liked getting mail. And growing up in Ohio, during the month of December, running to the mailbox to see if any foil-lined envelopes with holiday greetings inside were waiting for me to tear open and display with scotch tape somewhere in our home was my jam.
I still love cards, mail, paper and cards.
I also love these peeps that are in this picture with me. Every year since we’ve started doing cards, the ladies have been front and center. It was their idea to this year, to include us. I still am not sure how I feel about it… but alas, they’re growing up and their opinions matter.

My sweet friends, near and far, who have stuck by this blog even though my writing has waned… (I promise, I have so much in my brain I want to share…)… I wish you a blessed and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
I hope you find pockets of quiet in the next coming hours.
I hope you create sweet memories that will always keep you warm.
I hope you know that you are loved.
“A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new glorious morn…”
